Living Without Hypocrisy is a small but rich volume from which any Orthodox Christian can benefit. It contains a thematic organization of sayings from the Optina Elders—saints of our tradition who are collectively commemorated on October 11.
Due to its small size (or its ability to be on an electronic device), there are a number of ways that you might find a way to read small bits each day. However, there may be times that you would like to see what counsels these saints offer on a particular subject you have in mind.
This book, neither in the printed nor the electronic versions, contains a table of contents or index. I hope that this post will be an aid to those who wish to visit and re-visit this great book.
The headings are those provided by the translator, Archimandrite George (Schaefer), with the page numbers representing those in the printed volume. They are listed first alphabetically, and then chronologically (as you would read them from cover to cover).
Holy Fathers of Optina, pray to God for us!
